Virtual Blue LTD. Hong Kong (henceforth referred to "Us","We", "Our") is commited to ensuring the privacy of all our Coinetize users and account holders (referred to by "You", "Your" and "Yours"). We promise to collect only the information We need to deliver Our services, and not to share your information with third parties other than when required by law.

1. How we use Your Information

(1.1) We must keep a valid email address on record to contact You, and to distinguish Your account. However, no other information is required to open or retain a Coinetize account.

(1.2) We may give You the option to add other personal information such as a name, address and telephone number. You are not obligated to supply this information, and can still hold a Coinetize account without it. We allow this option in case You wish to supply this information quickly to another Coinetize user who is providing You with an online resource. Where we offer any a service to automate transferral of such personal information, this kind of service is NOT activated by default. You must consent and deliberately activate this service before We will enable it.

(1.3) When You purchase Coinetize credits with a credit card, We must collect certain personal information (such as Your full name and billing address) necessary to prevent fraud and to verify the card-holder genuinely authorises the purchase. The payment gateway, and/or Your bank may request additional verification.

(1.4) In general, we do NOT keep Your payment details on record once a purchase is complete. However, as a measure to prevent money-laundering We impose a monthly limit on the amount of fiat currency per credit card which can be used to purchase Coinetize Credits. (Please see Our general Terms.) In order to achieve this We need to retain the following information for a period of 30 days after purchase:

(a) The card number

(b) The type of card (e.g. Mastercard)

(c) The USD purchase amount (or USD equivalent)

(d) The date of the purchase

This information is kept in encrypted format. We do NOT retain the name of the card-holder, the card-holder's address or any other personal information not mentioned in (a) to (d). 30 days after Your purchase using a credit card, this information is permanently erased.

(1.5) When You purchase Coinetize credits using Bitcoin, We do not need to verify any personal information, and none of Your personal information is recorded.

(1.6) When You browse the Coinetize website, We may determine and record Your approximate geographical location from Your internet protocol (IP) address. We do this in order to give us a broad idea of where our members are located. However, We do NOT record Your IP.

(1.7) We identify and record statistical information on which browsers and operating systems our members are using. We gain statistics on browsers and operating systems in order to ensure Our website is correctly optimised for the kind of internet traffic We are receiving. However, We do not record this in a way that means We know which browser or operating system You are using.

(1.8) We use Google Analytics to gain other information on web traffic. Please refer to the information Google provides on their Analytics service to verify which information is collected.

(1.9) We will NOT send You email advertising soliciting sales, but We will send You updates on out terms and conditions, and notifications to changes in our services which We deem are important for Your understanding of Our services.

(1.10) To protect Your personal information, We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

2 - Third Party Services

(2.1) Where it is necessary for Us to work with or contract third parties, We do our utmost to ensure We choose service providers who have the same commitment towards privacy as We do.

(2.2) In general, We only select third-party providers who promise to only collect, use and disclose Your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

(2.3) However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information We are required to provide to them for Your purchase-related transactions.

(2.4) For these providers, we recommend that You read their privacy policies so You can understand the manner in which Your personal information will be handled by these providers.

(2.5) In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either You or Us. So if You elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then Your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

(2.6) As an example, if You are located in Canada and Your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then Your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

(2.7) Once You leave the Coinetize website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, You are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or the Coinetize Terms of Service.

(2.8) When You click on links on Our website, they may direct You away from Our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage You to read their privacy statements.

3 - Cookies

(3.1) When You access our website or content or use our application or the Services, We (or Google Analytics on our behalf) may place small data files called cookies on Your computer or other device. We use these technologies to recognize You as a Coinetize member and to customize the services and content We provide.

4 - Amendments

(4.1) We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If We make material changes to this policy, We will notify You here that it has been updated, so that You are aware of what information We collect, how We use it, and under what circumstances, if any, We use and/or disclose it.
